The Galdita and Turcu gorges represent a complex reservation, with their spectacular relief, cut in the white limestone rocks.

They are located in the south-central part of the Trascau Mountains (the Bedeleu peak), in the basin of the Galda river, on its tributary stream called Galdita (little Galda).

Both Galdita and Turcu gorges look extremely picturesque, with their steep walls, sharp peaks and strange isolated rocks.

The Galdita gorge cover 14 hectares, while the Turcu gorge cover other 15 hectares.

They can be reached by taking the national road DN 1 (E 15 A) Alba Iulia - Aiud and then the county road (DJ 107) Galda de Jos - Galda de Sus - Modolesti. A county road passes through the Galdita and the western Turcu Gorges.
